Today with over 500.000 Agent locations worldwide in over 200 countries and territories, millions of people trust Western Union to send and receive money worldwide.


The main challenge of this campaign is both to make advertising to audience who can interest in Western Union in very different markets and to generate brand awareness over our target audience. Logically, the dynamics of each country are different, and targeting that works in one place might not works in another place.


In order to overcome these challenges, we used persona targeting and appographic. Because it is based on data targeting, we reached the right audience in a premium inventory. Also, we divided the creatives that we have into different ad groups and made optimisation according to the
conversions we get. We made our campaign through only mobile.

In this campaign, we worked with our exclusive partner InMobi, and we built up a campaign with many ad groups that provided us effective optimisation. We started with many different ad groups for all the countries that we target – USA, Bulgaria, China and Turkey and with those ad groups we optimised our campaign according to performance.


More than 164.512 impression were gained in target locations and 22.236 clicks were gained. 14.27% CTR was gained for USA, China, Bulgaria and Turkey which is a successful rate for the aim of the campaign.
